What should the Flames' new D-man's nickname be? The team picked up Jim Vandermeer from Philly today. Funny... I don't remember seeing him on the ice last night but upon checking the roster, he was there. Huh. I did miss seeing Gagne though, he would have been fun to watch. Guess who I didn't miss? Just guess.
Flames are on my TV tonight! Yay! Thanks, TSN. But wait - so is ANTM. Is that wrong? :P

PS: Upon checking Jimbo Vandy's stats, I remembered why he seemed to stick out in my mind - I watched him play a few games when he came to my hometown as a Red Deer Rebel. Happy birthday to you, you new Flame, you. Speaking of the old days, my favourite Kootenay Ice player of all-time (see: reminiscing), Matt Walker of the St. Louis Blues, finally scored his first NHL goal.

Oh man, is there another season of America's Next Top Model?? REALLY? I have gotten so addicted to that show in college. It's bad.
REALLY. I eschewed it for the longest time but I started watching it halfway through last cycle (and yes, I just said 'cycle', not 'season'. Yikes).
That's when I started watching too. I blame Margee/needing a form of brain rot to destress.
Cycle makes a lot more sense when talking about ANTM because it really doesn't have seasons like normal TV shows do.
